These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of thegoodlord.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make from The Good Lord LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("The Good Lord," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. If you are a minor, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your Account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate an account at our discretion, including for suspected fraud or violation of these Terms.

3. Products and Availability

Our pieces are produced in limited runs and may sell out or be discontinued without notice. We make reasonable efforts to display products accurately, but colors, textures, and finishes may vary depending on your screen, and product photography is representative rather than exact.

We reserve the right to limit quantities per customer, per household, or per order.

4. Pricing and Errors

All prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. Despite our efforts, a product may occasionally be listed at an incorrect price or with an incorrect description. We reserve the right to correct such errors and to cancel or refuse any order placed at an incorrect price, even after the order is confirmed. If we cancel an order after payment, we will issue a full refund.

5. Orders and Acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does not constitute acceptance. A contract forms only when we ship the item. We may refuse, limit, or cancel any order at our discretion — including orders that appear fraudulent, are placed by resellers, or violate these Terms.

6. Payment and Taxes

Payment is due in full at checkout. By submitting payment information you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method. Applicable sales, use, and VAT taxes are calculated at checkout based on your shipping destination.

7. Shipping, Title, and Risk of Loss

Shipping timelines shown at checkout are estimates and are not guaranteed. Title and risk of loss pass to you when we deliver the package to the carrier. Delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or events outside our control are not our responsibility.

International orders. You are the importer of record and are responsible for all duties, taxes, and customs fees imposed by your destination country, whether collected at checkout or on delivery. We cannot predict these charges. Packages refused or abandoned at customs may be treated as non-returnable.

8. Returns

Returns are governed by our Return Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Intellectual Property

The Site and its contents — including the name "The Good Lord," our logos, wordmarks, Old English lettering treatment, product designs, graphics, photography, and text — are owned by The Good Lord LLC or its licensors and are protected by trademark, copyright, and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any of it, or use our marks on your own products or in connection with any goods or services, without our prior written permission.

Purchasing a product grants you ownership of that physical item only. It does not transfer any intellectual property rights, and does not permit reproduction, counterfeiting, or commercial resale using our marks.

10. User Submissions

If you post content that tags or references us, or send us photos, reviews, ideas, or other materials, you grant The Good Lord LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that content in connection with our brand and marketing, with attribution to your handle where practical. You represent that you own or have the rights to the content you submit and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: use the Site for any unlawful purpose; interfere with or disrupt the Site or its security; use bots, scrapers, or automated purchasing tools; place fraudulent orders or submit false information; resell our products using our marks in a way that suggests affiliation or authorization; or harass or abuse our staff or other customers.

12. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party sites and services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, or practices, and linking does not imply endorsement.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

Except where prohibited by law, the Site and all products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Good Lord LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any product, whether based in contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site or a product will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you in full.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Good Lord LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

16. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them or your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 17, you agree that any action will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

17. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.

Except for claims that qualify for small-claims court and claims seeking injunctive relief for intellectual property infringement, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or any product will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider, seated in Florida, rather than in court.

Class action waiver. You and The Good Lord LLC each agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of representative proceeding.

If this Section 17 is found unenforceable in whole or in part, the remainder of these Terms remains in effect and any surviving dispute will proceed under Section 16.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Changes apply to orders placed after they are posted. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

19. General

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Return Policy, are the entire agreement between you and The Good Lord LLC regarding the Site.
